* Unlike modern leather tanning processes the Oak Bark Tanned leather we use for our leather goods is tanned traditionally using locally coppiced oak bark and water from the river Coly in Devon, UK.

This slow, heritage tanning process produces zero harmful or toxic waste. We never use chrome tanned or leathers tanned using chemical or toxic treatments.

* Make to order in small batches in an effort to eradicate waste and working by natural daylight with hand tools where possible. Nothing rushed can ever be quality craftsmanship.

* All packaging is made from recycled materials. Leather goods boxes are made in England from heavy kraft board. They are very strong and entirely reusable for storage and completely recyclable.

Boxes and goods tags are hand stamped with traditional letterpress ink and tied with natural jute twine - which for all you bushcrafters out there - makes a great tinder!

Animal Welfare

The World Animal Protection Index - an international non-profit animal welfare organisation - shows that the UK holds high animal welfare standards.

This means the animals that provide the leather for your beautiful natural leather goods comes from are locally sourced, a bi-product of the meat industry, grass fed, are free to roam outdoors and not packed into cramped artificial environments.
